POLICE SEARCH FOR SUSPECTS AFTER PHARMACY BREAK-AND-ENTER

On Thursday (November 16) at approximately 8:45 a.m., South Simcoe Police responded to a break and enter at a local pharmacy in Bradford. Overnight on Wednesday (November 15), unknown persons broke-in to a vacant store front next to the pharmacy.

A soft gravel shoulder is being blamed, after a tanker truck rolled over and ended up in the ditch. Just after 9 this morning, (nov17) the OPP and New Tecumseth Fire were called to assist with the transport rollover in Beeton.

New Tec Fire Rescue say the tanker was carrying non-hazardous material.

SIMCOE COUNTY PARAMEDIC TOY DRIVE IS UNDERWAY

The 15 Annual Simcoe County Paramedic Toy Drive begins today (nov 17).
Greg Sharp, with County of Simcoe Paramedic Services, say they will be at area Santa Claus Parades collecting food, toys and gift cards or cash.

Husky Energy's new pre-pay policy is now in effect at its gas stations.
Customers are now required to pay for their gas either at the pump or in store before they can fill their tanks.

TOYS FOR TICKETS BACK IN NEW TEC

The Town of New Tecusmeth is about to start their annual Toys for Tickets campaign
If you get caught parking overnight in New Tec you can pay for your ticket with optional seasonal fine.
Mayor Rick Milne says the Toys for Tickets Program is running for its 10th year.

Essa Council held a working session this week.
Mayor Terry Dowdall says they are early in the process but he is optimistic.
