Winners of this year's Sunshine Foundation Tire Tack Back event, Earl and Eileen Graham, the owner's of Early's and their staff raised over $21,000 to contribute to the foundation.

COUNTY MAY LEAVE PROPOSED GREEN BIN BY-LAW AT THE CURB

Simcoe County Council to wait until after working session to vote on new Waste Management.
The County currently has a waste diversion target of 71% by 2020, and in order to reach that, a new by-law has been proposed to encourage residents to use their green bins.

STOLEN TRUCK FOUND BY OWNER

The victim of the auto theft...finds his own vehicle.
South Simcoe Police say on Monday (sep 26) the owner of stolen pick up truck spied his vehicle in the parking lot of an Innisfil restaurant.
He called police, kept an eye on the truck and waiting for the cops to arrive.

UPDATE: COLLISION CAUSES ROAD CLOSURE IN ESSA

Collision in Essa sends woman to Toronto Trauma Centre.
On Tuesday (Sept 27) afternoon, a dump truck collided with a car at the intersection of County Road 56 and 5th Sideroad in Essa.
Acting Sergeant Susan Stone of the Nottawasaga OPP says the crash resulted in fallen hydro lines.

ARREST MADE IN BEETON SCHOOL VANDALISM

An arrest has been made in the vandalism at a Beeton primary school.
Nottawasaga OPP say $20,000 damage was done when 71 windows in the school were smashed back on September 22.
Solar panels on the roof of the school were also damaged.

Another suspicious fire in New Tecumseth.
This time it was a house fire in Beeton.
New Tec Fire Rescue were called to the home on Maple Avenue West early Saturday (sep 24) evening .

INNISFIL FARMER'S MARKET HARVEST FESTIVAL

On Thursday (Sept 29), Innisfil is holding their Farmer's Market Harvest Festival at the Innisfil Recreation Complex.
Christine Ayres is the Market Manager.

She says there is lots to do for all ages.
The Innisfil Farmer's Market runs from 2 pm to 7 pm.
