Yesterday, the County announced they are now bidding to become the home of Amazon's newest North American facility.
Mark Aitken is the CAO of the County says they are now playing on an international stage.

NEW TEC TO HONOUR TOWN WORKER KILLED ON THE JOB

New Tecumseth will honour a town worker with a park dedication .
Geoff Gaston was killed in June 2014 when he was struck by a drunk driver while Gaston painted lines on Victoria St. in Alliston.
On Tuesday (Oct 24), New Tec will officially unveil Geoff S. Gaston Sports Park.

ALLISTON DRUG BUST

A drug raid in Alliston.
Nottawasaga OPP charged a man and woman with various drug offences after executing a search warrant at a residence.
On top of the drugs, which included marijuana and cocaine, police also seized cash and weapons.

A car-pedestrian collision in Essa Township has left one person dead.
Nottawasaga OPP say a 60 year woman was killed when she was struck by a vehicle on the 6th Line north of Highway 89 in Essa.
The accident happened last night (oct 15) at around 745pm.

They will be hosting a Blood Donor Clinic in Bradford on Tuesday October 17th.
