SMH FOUNDATION TRANSFORMING STEVENSON CAMPAIGN HITS HIGH GEAR
2/8/2018 5:05:40 AM

Stevenson Memorial Hospital Foundation Transforming Stevenson campaign has crossed the halfway mark.

The goal is $30 million and they have raised, since launching the campaign last April, over $17 million

Melody McLean is the Director of Development with Hospital Foundation.

She says the money is earmarked for three areas.

One of those being SHINE, which stands for Shared Health Information Network Exchange.

That will mean new equipment, which is the another focus for the campaign.

McLean says the third area of focus is the hospital redevelopment.

Helping the Transforming Stevenson campaign get to their goal have been some huge donors and investors.

That includes $4 million from the Honda Canada Foundation, the Nottawasaga Foundation, pledging $1 million and the Simcoe County, most recently, pledging $10 million towards redevelopment of the hospital.
