Patience is a virtue.

In this case, it would have saved one guy a whole lot of charges.

A South Simoce Police Officer on general patrol on Saturday (feb10) in Innisfil pulled over on the 25th Sideroad to let a large volume of traffic pass.

That's when the officer noticed a car approaching from a side street.

The driver, upset with the slow traffic, was waving his arms at the officer.

The cop approached the driver, and while speaking to them, detected the odour of alcohol.

The driver, 52 year old Innisfil man, blew a WARN and his license was suspended for 3 days.

A little digging into his driving record also uncovered unpaid fines and a suspension.
